Getting started for the New Year

Setting Up Semester 1 for the Current Year

Listed below are the steps that needs to be completed.

1. Check Current Year Enrolment Data

  • Assign teacher to Home Groups
  • New Teachers
  • Portal Data Checks

Check Current Year Enrolment Data: 

Assign teacher to Home Groups

To check if your enrolment data for students, teachers and parents/guardians has transferred from eSIS to nForma, go to HOME> Maintain Students/Class list. Check if the current year is available in the drop list and select. Check that your Home groups are listed with student.

Once confirmed, finish off the new year roll over with these three steps.

  1. Assign teachers to their respective home groups.
  2. You can also rename Home Groups if wanted.


New Teachers

  • New Teacher enrolment is controlled by MACS. Once they have been activated in E-HR, it will be synced with nForma. 
  • If this hasn’t happened yet, please check that the user is activated under Maintain Users. (Also check under the INACTIVE list). 
  • To activate New Users, click here 


To manually re-import the enrolment data, at the main menu under SCHOOL CONFIG, click on the SIF Data Integration button to load all enrolment data again.

Any new enrolled students/parents entered into eSIS, should appear later that evening when ICON syncs data to all 3rd party software  


Portal Data Checks

Login to your portal to check all your parent users have come across. 

Go into “Apps” > “Users” > “Parents”. Filter your page to display all “inactive” parents. 

If there are parent users listed there that are meant to be active, click on the left tick box next to their name and the red “Update status” button. 

 

If you uploaded your future parents into the portal last year, click on the “Future” filter. 


If a parent is listed there, then there is a data issue. Login to nForma and search for the parent in Student Contacts to check that the data is correct. 

If unsure, email the support team and they can guide you on how to align the data.

Licence Renewals: 

Clarisse Enterprises’ practice is to process all software licence renewals in February of every year. Pricing is based on the number of students enrolled after your initial roll over has occurred in nForma. You will receive an invoice from Clarisse Enterprises for the nForma product which now includes our Google hosting. 

 

If your subscription is changing this year in any way, please contact us via email: info@nforma.com.au


School Details:

If you have a new Principal or nForma administrator at the school, could you forward us the necessary details, (i.e. name and email address) so that we can update our records.
