How do I archive, publish and upload reports to the Portal?

In order for parents to access their child's reports, they will need to download the "nForma for Parents App" (as per attached guide) or use this link https://portal.nforma.com.au/login. Prior to uploading the current reports, we recommend that you check all previous reports have been archived and published in nForma. 

Check previous ARCHIVED and PUBLISHED Reports
Go to "nReports"

1. Sub menu "manage report archive"
2. Select the year and semesters
3. Expand the list ALL for HG groups icon. That way you will see under the date published and date archived if they have already been sent to the portal. If they are blank for any students, follow the steps below. 

To ARCHIVE and PUBLISH reports to the portal:

1. Go to "nReports"
   
2. "Print School Reports"
3. Select the year and semester 
4. Select the whole school and then "Archive"
5. Repeat for other years/semesters if required

• Archiving reports simply creates the PDF reports and stores them online.
• One click button
• Recommended to perform the task outside school hours. This can take anywhere between 20 – 60 mins
• If you receive an error for a HG,  “Report Failed: Error in Report Runner Preview- see inner exception for details”, simply change the drop down from Whole School to Home Group.   Select the correct Teacher and HG on far left. Click Archive

Once you are ready to publish the reports online for parents to access via the app, follow these steps:

1. Go to "nReports"
   
2. "Manage Report Archive"
3. Select the year and semesters that have been archived
4. Select all home groups from the top left tick box
5. Click "Publish selected students"
6. OPTIONAL: Repeat the process for previous years/semesters if you would like your parents to access past reports).
