Yes, you are able to make a staff only group chat. To do this, go into the chat module on the desktop and create a group. Give the chat a name and tick the "allow responses" checkbox. You will have to assign one parent in the group initially to start the chat, we usually recommend adding a teacher/parent and add their parent account. Once done, create the chat. The chat will then appear on the left hand side. Click on the name of the chat and then the "Participants" tab. You can now remove the parent and then add the staff from the "Parent" dropdown at the bottom of the list. Select the staff and then "Add participant".
We highly recommend that those using the chat module download the app. That way they are able to receive the notifications when a message is sent.
